PONT Group supports Edumi Fest, an event dedicated to teachers and educators that aims to create an authentic learning environment, facilitate the exchange of good practices, and encourage reflection on the role of education in contemporary society. The event will take place on April 18, from 9:30 to 18:00, in Bucharest at The Youth (22 Christian Tell Street).
Organized by EDUMI, the event places one of the key actors of the educational ecosystem, teachers and educators, at its center. It offers participants the opportunity to explore innovative methods, engage in professional dialogue, and strengthen their professional community. The program includes 12 workshops, a STEM exploration zone, and EDUMI TALKS sessions featuring stories from the community.
For Grupul PONT, investing in educators is a direct investment in the future of young people. Our strategic objective is to develop ecosystems that support young people in gaining autonomy and strengthening their agency. This cannot be achieved without well-prepared, connected, and supported educators.
“We believe that young people’s autonomy and agency develop within a living ecosystem in which teachers play a central role. If we want generations capable of critical thinking, participation, and building resilient communities, we must support those who guide them along the way. Our support for Edumi Fest comes from our trust in EDUMI’s work and in the impact they can generate by strengthening the educator community” – said András FARKAS, President of PONT Group.
PONT Group views this support not as a one-time presence, but as the beginning of a long-term strategic collaboration with EDUMI. The festival represents a first step toward a partnership that can lead to joint initiatives dedicated to teachers and, indirectly, to young people.
Through this involvement, PONT Group reaffirms its commitment to social innovation, participation, and community development by supporting actors who contribute to the positive transformation of education.
