High school students from the school newspapers teams participating in the #SchoolNews project learned essential information, in February, at Zbor Hub Cluj about the personalized online platform dedicated to each school as part of the project.

The workshop was led by Balázsi-Pál Előd, who has 20 years of experience in print, online, TV, and radio journalism. During the event, the online platform was presented with the goal of familiarizing students with its design, logic, and functionalities. They were guided to set it up, customize it, and begin uploading their own materials.

In the spring of 2025, supported by their mentors, the students will create various media materials to upload online, and soon we’ll all be able to read and enjoy the content they create. 

The #SchoolNews Cluj project is run by the PONT Group from January 2024 to June 2025. Through #SchoolNews, PONT Group supports the development of school newspapers so that young people aged 14-18 can become more engaged, develop critical thinking and digital media literacy skills through direct involvement in content creation and accessing information created by their peers.
