Skills such as creative and structured problem solving, teamwork and reasoning are becoming increasingly valuable in a world where more and more things are becoming digital and automated. The European Innovatory project offers students the opportunity to train and develop these skills. On Saturday 22 April, 13 teachers from Cluj were introduced to the Design Thinking method. The teachers, led by Timi Grunzó, tried out the method themselves. They returned to their schools to lead 3 teams through the process. Over the course of a month, the teams of 3-5 people will go step by step from identifying a problem in their environment, to testing solutions, to choosing the best one. We can’t wait to see the students’ ideas!
