On 15-18 September, the Youth Summit 7.0 took place in Cluj-Napoca, in the “Dumitru Fărcaș” Students’ Culture House, an event that brought together 400 young people and youth workers from Romania and the Republic of Moldova, organized by the Governance of the Youth Capital of Romania Programme!
During the 3 days of the event, participants took part in 43 activities in the field of sustainability and youth participation. The theme of the summit was reflected both in the content of the activities and in the event itself, with the organisers opting for eco-friendly versions of all materials, avoiding waste of food and consumables and offering a welcome pack with sustainable options.
The event ended with the Closing Ceremony that revealed the name of the city that will bear the title of Youth Capital of Romania 2024: Ploiesti!
The Youth Summit 7.0 was organised by the Romanian Youth Capital Governance – Romanian Youth Council (CTR), Cluj Youth Federation (FTC), PONT Group (PONT) and Romanian Commercial Bank (BCR); event co-financed by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme and realised with the support of Cluj-Napoca City Hall and Local Council, Cluj County Council and the Students’ Cultural Centre “Dumitru Fărcaș” Cluj-Napoca.
