We were grateful and happy to represent our Castle in Transylvania programme internationally and to learn from best practices from all around Europe! Our colleauges at PONT attended two castle-related events last week.
Executive Director Balázsi-Pál Ágnes took part in the International Training Week organized by Sites & Cités remarquables de France in Bordeaux, France, where a number of professionals, elected officials and representatives of local communities from national bodies spoke about Heritage and Sustainable Development.
“Collaboration between different domains and exchange of experiences are core elements of our approach to the problem of the castles and the built heritage in Transylvania. It was a very intensive week, we had the opportunity to meet experts, projects and experiences from all around the world and it was an honour for me to represent and present the castles of Transylvania in this project”, said Balázsi-Pál Ágnes.
On September 24th, Strategic Director András Farkas represented PONT at the final conference of the project Heritage Houses for Europe in Brussels, which presented the project’s study on the impact of the sector of family-owned heritage houses throughout Europe, highlighting the key findings and policy recommendations of European Historic Houses Association.
