Do you have a cool idea for Cluj-Napoca? Bring it to Com’ON!

The participatory youth process Com’ON Cluj-Napoca ’21 is waiting for young people to submit their ideas for a better city. The groups of young people from Cluj are invited to register their initiatives on www.comoncluj.ro until September 10, 2021, in the spirit of the motto of the edition: Let’s do well together!. The ranking will be based on online voting, and a minimum of 45 initiatives will be financially supported by the City Hall and the Local Council of Cluj-Napoca and by BCR with a maximum of 3,500 lei and will be implemented by November 2021.
This year, the participatory process will continue to focus on the motto chosen in 2020, Let’s do well together!, and will focus on well-being, on the quality of community life that can be improved together. The theme, always important, has become essential in this atypical period, and young people can come up with creative and interesting solutions both for themselves and for the whole city.

Who can participate and how? Groups of young people aged between 14 and 35 are invited to participate, who are not part of legally established organizations, or even if they are, and who believe primarily in their potential to generate something positive for the Cluj community. A group can propose as many initiatives as it considers, but a maximum of 3 initiatives will be awarded – if they qualify in terms of the number of votes. Initiatives that will be implemented exclusively online will also be accepted, provided that they are addressed mainly to the people of Cluj. Also, given the uncertain context in which we find ourselves and the lack of a medium-term legal framework for organizing events, it is recommended that registered initiatives can, if necessary, be adapted to a new organizational context, ie they can take place online.

The full list of conditions for participation can be found in the rules here.

How to register? Registrations are made by entering www.comoncluj.ro and completing this form which can be accessed until September 10, 2021, at 23:59.

And then? Once the initiatives are registered, the Cluj community will vote online for their favorite ideas, and the first at least 45 ideas in the order of votes will be awarded by the City Hall and the Local Council of Cluj-Napoca and by BCR with 3,500 lei each and can be put into practice by November 2021.

Here you will find a short video through which young people are invited to submit their ideas to Com’ON Cluj-Napoca ‘21.
