Chronically ill young people need courage: the courage to be themselves, the courage to make their voices heard.
#IAmMyAdvocate is a project officially launched on Tuesday 24 May in Cluj Napoca, through which Yuppi Camp wants to create a community where current and former participants of Yuppi Camp experiential therapy camps can share their problems encountered due to their illness and help each other to overcome those difficult moments, increase their self-confidence, feel accepted and understood and be encouraged to make their voice heard. A place where they can take courage.
We at PONT Group support this project and want to prove to young people that they can make a difference and they can be a creative force in the community.
So we’re doing what we do best: helping 50 chronically ill young people identify their specific problems and design projects that offer solutions. 10 of these will be implemented by them in their own community.
We can’t wait to hear their ideas and be with them in the process!
