The SEPSI Youth Parliament has as its main goal the formation and strengthening of the local youth ecosystem in Sfântul Gheorghe able to act collectively to contribute to a high quality of life for young people in terms of their well-being, future prospects and community involvement.

We want to involve more than 500 people to set up and strengthen participatory decision-making mechanisms that underpin collective action for the benefit of young people through involvement.

Together with the stakeholders involved, we will create a strategic framework for intervention targeting young people over a time horizon up to 2030 and the framework for operationalization through action plans for 2022 and 2023. This will be done through open and participatory governance.

We also want to strengthen the collaboration of the public sector (city hall, local council) and key non-governmental organisations (Prospero Association, PONT Group) in increasing the capacity for collective action for the benefit of young people living, studying or working in the city.

The project is initiated and coordinated by PONT, is carried out in partnership with Prosepro – Ifjúsági és Kulturális Egyesület, Sfântu Gheorghe and is funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme.
